2019-05-24

We are proud to be a part for the Clarence Correctional center project in Grafton. Grafton city is located on the Clarence River, approximately 500 kilometers north-northeast of the Australia New South Wales state capital Sydney.

It is one of the largest single projects for KOMFOVENT. The project required the design and supply of 111 KOMFOVENT RHP Professional (size range from RHP10 to RHP50) heat recovery units with incorporated heat pump solution, inverter driven compressors, EC fans, sensors of CO2.

All units have a built-in C5 professional smart control, which is linked to the BMS through BACnet / Modbus protocols. C5 designed for professionals. It controls thermodynamic processes and saves energy. The user is given detailed information about the operation of the unit. Variety of modes and functions allows to choose the most optimal operating mode that maximizes energy saving.

Clarens Correctional center project in total estimated at $560 mio (AUD). The center consists of 80 buildings, which includes 1 000 bed male maximum-security facility, 300 bed female maximum-security facility and 400 bed minimum security facility.  In total it will accommodate 1,700 inmates. Construction of the new correctional centre began in early 2018 and is expected to be completed by 2020.
